ARE THE STARS ALIVE?

LOGLINE: A female astronomer in the 1830’s seeks to study the stars. To her amazement, as she looks through the telescope, her room transforms into a cosmic ocean, with the stars appearing directly above. The Gemini Twins smile down at her and our hero gazes and reaches up to them.

THEMES: Curiosity, Empowerment, Wonder, Acknowledging Woman (past and present) who make Discoveries

GENRE: Surrealist B&W film with hand-coloring film techniques nostalgic to early cinema - historically woman’s work in the 1800s. Inspired by the work of George Melies.
